Who We Service
Kidz Meals on Wheels is a grassroots organization that is run on donations. Our services are for children of families in crisis and extenuating circumstances. We are here to provide an extra layer of support to children of families facing difficult circumstances. We receive referrals from human services agencies and those families are first priority. While we service the community at large, our resources are limited to the amount of funds we receive.
Requirements
You must have at least 1 child under the age of 18 living in your home. You must be facing a crisis ie. fire, flood, utility shut off or other extenuating circumstances.
Receiving Your Delivery
We are a mobile service provider. When our drivers deliver to your home, someone must be available to come to the delivery vehicle, pick up packages and sign for them. Deliveries are normally made Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 4pm and 8pm. Extenuating circumstances may warrant adjustments to this schedule. If you are not available for deliveries, we will contact you when we host a mobile pantry, or you can scheduled a pickup.
