Since 2020, we have delivered over 150,000 meals to children and families across the city. We show up every week, reaching 30 to 40 families with fresh groceries, emergency food, and the kind of support that tells a family they are not invisible and they are not alone.

Food pantries should do more than hand out boxes. Healthy Horizons mobilizes and modernizes food pantries across Philadelphia, transforming them into community wellness hubs that prioritize fresh, culturally relevant, and child-appropriate nutrition. We connect pantries with schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations — reducing barriers and making sure families are reached where they are, geographically, culturally, and economically.

Y.A.G.E. is a workforce development program supporting youth and high-risk teens through direct employer partnerships, career readiness coaching, and fast-tracked interview placements — building confidence, real-world skills, and a pathway to stable employment.

When a family faces sudden housing instability, they need immediate support — not a waiting list. It Takes a Village is Kidz Meals on Wheels' crisis stabilization program that provides short-term emergency shelter placement while longer-term housing solutions are secured through trusted community partners. Because families belong together, even in crisis.
